A Seaside Sunday Brunch

For many along the Baja coast, there is nothing quite as relaxing on a sunny Sunday morning as heading out to enjoy a sumptuous, satisfying brunch with friends or family.  Needless to say, there are several options for this type of activity within the Playas Rosarito to Ensenada corridor, but some of the most popular are blessed with a scenic coastal view.

The Punta Morro Resort has been considered an elite travel destination for decades, and is situated on a rocky point near the northern end of Bahia de Todos Santos.  Its reputation as a picturesque property featuring first rate amenities is enhanced by the onsite restaurant, which enjoys the distinction of being a preferred dining venue offering great food, an attentive staff and a wonderful venue to enjoy a stunning ocean view along with your Sunday Brunch.

Punta Morro’s extensive brunch buffet features authentic Mexican cuisine, and also includes a salad bar, a selection of fresh fruits, omelets and quesadillas made to order, pancakes, waffles, fruits, a variety of freshly squeezed juices and an extensive array of mouth-watering desserts.

If you would like to enjoy a special beverage with your brunch, the adjacent bar pours a plethora of domestic and imported liquors, premium wines and refreshing brews along with a warm and ambient atmosphere to leisurely start the day.  Sunday Brunch is served between 9:00 and 1:00pm and is priced at $195 Pesos for adults.

Of course, the regular menu here also features juicy steaks and chops along with an array of fresh seafood such as lobster, abalone, crab, clams and oysters.  Nonetheless, when the sun is blazing down and there is a nice breeze coming off the Bahia, this is a near perfect place to take a pleasant stroll after sating yourself at the buffet on a Sunday morning.

If you are heading south on the coastal Tijuana to Ensenada highway, the exit for the Punta Morro Resort is located past El Sauzal, just before reaching the turnoff for the Hotel Coral & Marina and the Port of Ensenada.  For additional information and reservations, call (646) 178-35-07.
