For the farewell party Baja Mama’s was filled to capacity. It was standing room only, as they spilled out to the patio and down the stairs. More than 150 people came and went.
The feast included a Virginia ham, oysters on the half shell, steamed clams, macaroni dishes, salads of every description, topped off by a gaggle of deserts!
One brave couple managed to make enough room to start dancing and were joined by others.
So one chapter ended for Baja Mama and another chapter is beginning next door to the east. Baja Mama’s House, as it will be known, is already open to the public. The library, arts and crafts store will soon include a cafe and a green grocery. You can still pick up the Baja Review in the new location. Come on over and see the new place.
